APPLETON HUMANS
these are the appleton humans, the humans that live in appleton, wisconsin,
thinking that their lives are perfectly happy and normal--albeit a little dull,
but happy all the same. they know absolutely nothing about humans and
shifters, unless they have a damn good reason for having found out.
ONEIDA HUMANS
these are the oneida humans, and most are aware of the legends that circle
their reservation, but unless they have a family member that's a shifter, or
they're on the committee and thus know about it.
CRIMSON VAMPIRES
the crimson vampires, the things of horror stories. they suck the blood out
of any human they can get their hands on, not caring that they are murders
in the eyes of others. they are generally ruthless, although there are some that
understand and are compassionate, but all the same, for these creatures it all
boils down to one thing--human blood.
GOLDEN VAMPIRES
these vampires are rare, they feed off of animals rather than humans, and they
have families, not covens. they are nice and loving and don't like the idea
of killing humans to sustain their own lives.
HYBRIDS
these are even more rare than the golden vampires, they are half human, half
vampire. the mother is human, the father a vampire, and the mother either dies
in the process of giving birth or becomes a vampire herself after she gives birth.
the male hybrids are venomous, but the females aren't. there shouldn't be that
many of these.
WOLF SHIFTER
these are the more populous shifters, as they are the original indians on the reserve,
and consider themselves superior to the lions on the res. currently there are only
male wolf shifters allowed, after a while a few females will be allowed as well. as like
their ancestors, the wolf shifters are imprinters. it's the same as it was then, you see your
other half and you imprint, no matter your previous attachments to the person.
LION SHIFTER
these are very, very few in number, as only a small group of these indians came to
the oneida reserve in the beginning, but they integrated and there are more lions
now than there once more. a female or two of the lions will be allowed right now. just
like the wolves, the lions imprint, but they are much more protective over their mates, no
matter if their mate is also a shifter. the guidelines to imprinting are the same for them.
